Job Description: Associate

Roles & Responsibilities

Your role as an Associate, is to enhance the client experience by servicing clients and providing technical, operational and administrative support to the clients.

Auditing

  • Assisting in carrying out quality audit for our clients in multiple industries.
  • Assist in-charge in obtaining all necessary audit working papers and documentation including researching and documenting facts and findings..
  • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities

Accounting

  • Assist with set-up of accounting system
  • General payroll duties
  • Perform Book -keeping tasks
  • Responsible for the financial closing of monthly accounts, management reporting and financial analysis
  • Ensure that financial reports are prepared in accordance to financial reporting standards
  • Prepare budget, forecast and cash flow forecasting

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelors with at least one-year audit or accounting experience although new accounting graduates will also be considered.
  • Partial or full ACCA or CPA an advantage.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products and Proficiency with Excel

Skills Required

  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities
  • Unquestioned ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Evidence of being a team player and supportive colleague with strong interpersonal skills
